In home companion care provides homemaker duties for the elderly, new mothers and respite for those simply needing a break. Our flexible schedule works with your needs. You pick the days, hours, or weeks that you need care. Caregivers are available to assist you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including Holidays.

PROCESS of Placement & Maintenance of Companion Care

The process of setting up companion care is started by contacting the agency. Our office staff then assesses the need of each new client by using the information shared from the responsible party or of the client themselves. This can be completed either by a visit to our office of by phone consultation.

The staff then matches the needs of the new client with the skills and experience of the existing available Registrants.

When time allows, we can arrange an interview with the caregiver so that the client and family can meet and be acquainted with one another.

We then coordinate the caregivers; schedules so that the client will have the schedule of care they need and request.

We work diligently to provide replacement caregivers in the event of illness, emergencies, when a regular caregiver will be absent.

We can adjust the schedule to accommodate the changing needs of the client. Should you request/require less care than initially set up or if you should need additional coverage not previously requested, we can help.

Because we have a working relationship with our caregivers, we can represent the client or family if a situation arises that they find it difficult or unpleasant to negotiate with a caregiver. Should you wish to discharge a caregiver, Guardian can provide a replacement once you notify the caregiver and the agency.

We make our best efforts to refer caregivers that our clients feel are compatible and experienced in the level of companion care that they request. - If at any time a placement/referral is not meeting our client's needs, or their family' expectations; we will promptly make an additional referral.

SOME testimonials...

The Musselman High School Bible Club would like to thank you for your contribution to the Hurricane Katrina relief concert. Thanks to your generosity, the concert was a success and we were able to make $1,290. We could not have done this without your help. Donations from area businesses enabled us to pay for the bands, as well as, feed and house then, without using any of the profits from the concert or donations from individuals. We will be sending a check to the local Red Cross office this week in the amount mentioned above. I think it would be appropriate to extend their thanks to you along with ours. It is often too easy to forget about people's struggles and tragedies when the time has elapsed. Thank you for not forgetting the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Thanks for your $200 donation. Sincerely, D.M.
